Esta canción se empezó a gestar al momento después de poner nombre al grupo.
Teníamos como plazo las nueve de la noche para decidir qué nombre de banda poner en el cartel del primer concierto que tuvimos en el Moe Club de Madrid después del encierro por la pandemia. En una lluvia de ideas por el móvil, diciendo todas las combinaciones posibles de nombres, caímos en The Habit of The Rabbit. Nosotros no buscamos el nombre: él vino a nosotros. No podía ser otro.
Elegido el nombre para el cartel del concierto que se acababa de convertir en el primero bajo el nombre de The Habbit of The Rabbit (19 de Diciembre de 2020), seguimos diciendo tonterías por el móvil sobre el recién nacido grupo con nombre. Y se nos ocurrió que podríamos titular cada disco que publicásemos con algún hábito típico del conejo: el primero y obvio que todo el mundo piensa; comer zanahorias; pegar saltos o vivir en agujeros en la tierra. Todo esto en inglés porque somos guays.

Y con ese Living in a Hole in The Ground resonando a la cabeza... igual que con el nombre: no hicimos la canción, la canción vino a nosotros. Y con ella el nombre del que sería nuestro primer disco.

Como estábamos aún en tiempos de cuarentenas y toques de queda, por ser puñeteros y llevar la contraria al hartazgo general, hicimos una canción que es una oda al refugio en tu interior, alejado de las multitudes y del mundanal ruido; estar solo porque te apetece y no sentirte mal por no querer demostrar tu falta de tristeza con una sonrisa.
